Demolition in the Capital City

It is always a pleasure to bring such fine athletes to Montgomery, Alabama. We lick our chops at the opportunity to hear, feel, and see the effects of clanging and banging coming from fine tuned metal chariots.

Phenomenal athletes like Lakeshore’s Joel Wilmouth and  tournament MVP Tampa General’s Ryan Lyndstrom granted us the taste of fierce competitiveness we expected.  We got to give a shout out to a couple of ladies that held their own this past weekend, St. Louis’s Kerri Morgan and  Lakeshore’s Aimee Bruder.

One word sums this tournament up, “Demolition”.  Lakeshore came down I-65 South with one thought in mind and that was to demolish all that would suit up and roll onto the court.  Lakeshore Demolition led by intense and spirited coach Kevin Orr dominated all opposing foes. Lakeshore’s young guns Delvin McMillian and Joel Wilmouth teamed with experienced veterans Bob Lujano, Eddie Crouch, Tommy Vinzant and Willard Brooks rolled right on to a first place finish by beating a pretty good Tampa General team in the championship game.  TNT rounded out the top three.  St. Louis Rugby Rams finished fourth and fifth place went to Shepherd Smash.
