I think you have to check it out to decide.  Philly practices and has hosted tournaments on a sport court type floor for years.  It's not wood but its very usable.  The old New Jersey team played on one that was like a wrestling mat.  It was awful and killed low pointers' ability to push.  There were a lot of sore shoulders after Atlantic Sectionals on a synthetic wood floor.  West Palm has great synthetic floors.  The worst I ever saw was at a clinic in Richmond on a tennis floor where players left divots.
