US National Team

Sunday 6/29/08, USA wins the Canada Cup by routing New Zealand by double digits.

I've been waiting for some information – hoping Jan Mansfield would come through again or that xable would have the championship game up – to give a brief report on the team's Gold Metal performance in Vancouver. But as of now I haven't head anything except that the team won convincingly.

Well, the game is now up on xable.com, but I haven't seen any reports on sunday's action. I'm sure that the action was great and I'll watch asap, but fans in the US want updates from the US, not searching around cwsa.ca for scores and tidbits of info.

We have set up an entire section of the web for information about the team and its successes. We want to fill it with information.

It's our intent to get that functioning so that Beijing will have solid timely reporting come September.

Congrats to all  the members of Team U.S.A. You men make all of us here at VMC proud to be associated with you and the sport of Quad Rugby. You did yourselves and the U.S.A. proud.......on to Beijing !

What a great, intensive

What a great, intensive defensive effort by the whole team.  The Kiwis looked absolutely confused by the deuce line-up.  Chance, Will and Seth were scarey together.  Nemo'll only get better for '10 and '12 by playing with the national team.  Coach Gumbie has really molded this talented group together and put them in positions to utilize their talents.

And again thanks to Xable for being there so the world can see these games.  John Bishop made a smooth transition from color to play by play.

I dont think that NZ were

I dont think that NZ were confused by the 4x 2point line up. Their bench simply wasnt deep enough to cope with the constant changes in line up's the US was throwing at them.

Was a gr8 game to watch.

Team USA section

So in the past the Team USA part of the website has been great, now not so much. Should we not make that the best part of the site? I mean they are the best of the best, why not give them the attention and support they should be getting?
