I have played in a Top End and an Eagle, have tried a Melrose and Vesco, and eventually bought an Eagle Titanium (low-point). Best choice. Ever.
Granted it was one of Marty's first low-point titanium frames and we had to do a couple changes, but it was a perfect fit out of the box.
I may not see as much game time as some, but I'm always in the mix and have taken BIG hits from all the big-hitters: Kirkland, Willard, Zupan, Pate, Chance, Beekeeper, et. al. This frame is amazing - it takes the hits and asks for more! This being the end of the 3rd full season [as well as a full season with Team USQRA] playing in this chair and I've had no damage - no cracks, no breaks, no bends - even though I've bent wheels and tons of axles. In this time other players in Vesco's and Melrose have had plenty of damage needing repairs - some even totally replaced.
I may have paid a premium for the frame, but it has paid for itself in no repair costs, no replacement costs, and the personal service I get from Marty. This chair fits me very good, has a high pick that many high-pointers hate, and the lighter weight gives me a bit of speed that all low-pointers are looking for. Because it fits me so well, has an effective pick, and is nearly bullet-proof, I don't forsee having to buy another frame for several years. And as a player with an extremely tight budget is another great advantage.
Mine hasn't cracked or broken in three years [regular season plus summer play] - so there's no reason to worry about the extra skill needed to weld titanium. In the odd event that it ever does crack, I'm sure Marty can take care of it for you quickly. Turn-around on repairs from Eagle is quick, not like the three month plus wait from the other guy.

Lighter but...
Titanium chairs are lighter, but once the metal fractures they are harder to weld.
