k, I want to join rugby but I can't seem to find a place that's close enough... I live In shiprock, new mexico... do they have camps or a training facility where I could practice my game with other people... I don't know of any programs seeing I've only been injured for about a year & 1/3... but I've been working out ever since my injury & training for a year now... So if I ever come across one I'll be ready. I'm a C5 C6 quadriplegic first diagnosed as complete... I've always been active in my life we all have... I just need to practice this game and I feel that this is what I need to do... I just have this desire to knock down people in wheelchairs, lol... that and cause I'm the only guy in a chair I know... I'm stuck at home cause it is absolutely zero wheelchair friendly...

Here you go bud. Check out this list and try to find a team that's close to you. Get a hold of a team rep or captain to ask them about practices and maybe going to one. Most teams have an extra chair they can throw you in for a practice or two, until you can get your own chair. Good Luck man.

as far as i know, the
as far as i know, the closest teams to you are going to be phoenix, salt lake city, and denver. but there are new teams joining the league all the time. you might even be able to travel out to practice with one of those teams when you can and then try to get something started in new mexico. there have to be other people like you in your area looking for a way to stay active. best of luck to you!

I live in south dakota,
I live in south dakota, there's nothing here either, that's why I'm making a move to Denver to play with them boys. Sometimes you just gotta be a little selfish and do what's best for you. It wasa lot of work gettin things set up there but finally im ready to go. I used to be a pro fighter, I cannot just lay down and die, I have to keep fighting. I encourage you to do the same. Stay strong my friend.
