Information Package:

Your team is invited to the 11th Annual Vancouver Invitational Wheelchair Rugby Tournament, hosted by the BC Wheelchair Rugby Association and BC Wheelchair Sports Association! Please refer to the information below regarding all tournament details.

We are hoping to have a 10 team, Div 1 and Div 2 tournament, but we will be flexible based on interested teams.

Registration Information:    
The fee for this ten team open invitational tournament is CDN$750 for up to ten personnel. Add CDN$50 for every extra person. Lunches, Welcome Packages, as well as Transportation to and from the airport is included.

All teams must check in to the Registration Desk at the gym on Friday prior to their first game.  Payment must be received and waiver forms signed by athletes and team staff, prior to playing the first game of the tournament.
      

Transportation:    
Transportation will be provided from the airport to the hotel/gymnasium on Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday.  No exceptions!  In order to access transportation services, flights must arrive no later than 10am Friday, and depart no earlier than 6pm Sunday.  Please also show respect to our hosts and sponsors by remaining for the awards ceremonies on Sunday.

The hotel is easy wheeling to the gymnasium, a major shopping mall, and the transit system.  
      

Classification:    
There will Classifiers on hand during the tournament.  Any teams who have players needing to be classified, please contact Adam Frost at BC Wheelchair Sports as soon as possible, and no later than February 11th, 2010.  Please note that this is not an official classification panel therefore protests can not be submitted at this event.  Any athlete with a valid IWRF class card or USQRA class card may attend this event.

BC Wheelchair Sports needs to receive confirmation of your team’s registration as soon as possible.  In addition, please forward your team roster, flight arrangements and t-shirt sizes at your earliest convenience, and not later than February 11th, 2010.

Please note the hotel deadline of February 18th, 2010!  Rooms will be released after this date.
