Against: Will make tournaments too long
Making the games longer will make for very long game days and longer between games for players. Running a six team tourney with a single court takes 9 hours for a full game day. (6 games @ 1.5hr each), which already makes for a long day for volunteers and event staff who typically are at the tournament 1-2 hours before and after the games.

Against also..
I agree with db. Games are long enough now. If and when we divide this league into true division 1 and 2 or 3, then possibly make that division 1 more difficult and more geared towards TV etc, but most teams out there are not at the level and do not have the resources to deal with extended game lengths, etc. We have a wide range of talent levels and team levels that if we make it too difficult to handle at the club level, we will decrease our participation level.
When we have enough teams with the commitment level to handle extra game time and some of these extra rules, then we can make that league a premier league with its own set of premier rules, but we do not have that yet. Hopefully we can soon.
