Rugby Talk was recently targeted by automated hacking which allowed porn advertising and potentially harmful Malware (malicious software) to be posted on the board. Elevated Third and the USQRA Website Committee have been working together all week to resolve this problem.

The solution was an upgrade to the Forums as well as a “Captcha”. A Captcha is that little box with the squiggly characters in it. While they can be annoying, this keeps a hacker program from signing up a user and then posting whatever they want, whenever they want. As we feel more comfortable with this solution, we will limit the Captcha to user registration.
