10) Amends the bylaws to exempt Team USA members from “preseason game” requirements.

 This proposal amends a bylaw.

Identify the specific provision that will be changed: 

Article 1 Section 2 

State the language of the proposal: 

Waiver of required “preseason games” (before December 15^th) for all Team USA Paralympic and World Championship teams in World Championship and Paralympic years. 

State the reason the proposal should be passed: 

Players on these teams have generally been training for more than a year and half without breaks to represent the USA. This rule would allow athletes a chance to rest and recover a few months before they are required to get their “season games” in (January).
