The deadline for submission of applications for player clinic and referee/classifier workshop grants has been extended.

August 15, 2009 is now the deadline for applying for a USQRA Clinic Grant. The USQRA has developmental funds available - upto $1000 for player clinics or $500 for referee or classifier workshops.

The USQRA supports the development of this sport in the United States by providing assistance for new or established teams, rehabilitation centers and interested community organizations to hold instructional clinics in the play of the game of quad rugby as well as expert advice in organizing, building and maintaining successful community quad rugby programs.

Funding for these grants comes from fees paid by international players for the privilege of competing on US teams in USQRA competition.  The clinic program is a vital part of promoting this great sport and improving the level of play in our league.

The USQRA board urges you to consider sponsoring a player clinic and/or referee/classifier workshop.
